President

Kim McKeand

Kim McKeand is a retired Data Manager for the Ohio Department of Education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Management Science from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. An entrepreneur at heart, Kim has always been driven by a deep desire to serve those in need. Supporting individuals and families facing the trauma of childhood cancer, encouraging survivors, and honoring those who have lost their battle are the reasons Kim chose to serve as a board member for Kids Get Cancer Too.

As Board President, her personal mission is to raise awareness of pediatric cancer within the community and, with unwavering compassion, honor the children and families who face its impact every day. Kim is a devoted wife, mother of three, and grandmother of four. Her faith is central to her life—she loves the Lord and is devoted to Him above all. Kim also cherishes attending and serving at Grace Fellowship Church in Pickerington, Ohio.

Vice President

Kelley Landenberger

Kelley Landenberger is married to the love of her life, Brian Landenberger, for almost 26 years. They have three children, Kristen, Drennen, and Ashlyen.  Kelley attended Hocking College for nursing and worked in various fields until staying home with her children for several years.

Her experience was within ICU, palliative care, and oncology. Kelley has completed numerous Continuing Education courses to broaden her skills, including phlebotomy, pharmacy technician training, and certification as a CPR instructor.

After returning to the workforce after being at home with her children, she was the Director of a children's program called Parents Day Out, where her love of children, and the medical field all could work together.

On October 14 , 2024, her youngest daughter, Ashlyen, was diagnosed with ALL pre-B leukemia high risk. Now her passion is to help any families and advocate for them along this pediatric cancer journey. 

Kelley and her family attend Grace Fellowship. She enjoys studying the Bible, shopping, family time, and helping others.

Secretary

Adam Akers

Adam Akers is the father of two kids, Emersyn and Roman. He has been married to his wife Mercedes since 2013 and they reside in central Ohio. Adam graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelors where he studied business and technology. He has worked in IT for 16+ years as a server/infrastructure administrator.

Adam attends Grace Fellowship Church in Pickerington, Ohio where he and his wife serve on several different teams. His hobbies include four wheeling, fishing, video games, home renovations, family adventures, and taking care of his chickens. Adam is always looking for new opportunities to serve others and to see what the Lord has in store for him next.

Bruce McKeand

Bruce McKeand is a small business owner qualified with over 40 years of experience in his field. His company, CGP, LLC, has been in the appraisal and antique industry since 1978. He is a leading provider of valuations, and over the past few years, he has established a proven track record for quality, trustworthy appraisals.

Volunteer Coordinator

Jen Scorziell

Jen has been married to her husband for 18 years, and together they have three wonderful children. For the past 10 years, Jen has had the privilege of serving at Grace Fellowship Church. During that time, she oversaw volunteer teams of more than 300 people and planned events attended by over 1,000. Now, her greatest joy is helping people discover their unique gifts and find meaningful ways to get involved.

Jennifer Belt

Jen Belt is the artist and owner of Ruby Rose Studio, LLC. She is a self-taught artist that operates her one-woman shop out of the wee town of Orient, Ohio. She has been marketing her art online, at shows, and in stores around the country since 2006. She attended The University of Akron where she earned her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and English.

Information Technology

Brandon McKeand

Brandon McKeand is a loving father of two cats, whom he raises with his husband in Santa Cruz, California. He is the Director of Operations and Support for Exceedio, an IT company that specializes in support of non-profits, small businesses, and governmental infrastructure agencies, throughout California. He is a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz with a degree in Computer Science from the Baskin School of Engineering. He has spent his life in customer service in one form or another for the last 20 years and finds joy in helping others as best he can. Finally, he enjoys long drives to remote places in search of the most spectacular campsites found in the US.

Laura Mulligan

Laura Mulligan lives in Pickerington with her husband, Ken, and mother, Diana. She has two adult children, Kelsey and Colin. Laura is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Family and Human Development. She has been in ministry for over 20 years. She was formerly the Director of Children's Ministry at Brice United Methodist Church. Currently, she serves as the Care Coordinator for Grace Fellowship's Pickerington Campus. She also serves as a Support Chaplain at Nationwide Children's Hospital. For fun, Laura enjoys traveling with her family, exercising, Bible study, and her role as a small group leader for both children and adults. She says, “I'm honored to walk alongside children and their families through Kids Get Cancer Too.”
